By combining the meeting facilities Eino and Leino the well-lit windowed meeting facility Eino Leino is created. Eino Leino can be combined with the event facility Puikkari. Eino Akusti Leino was a wrestler and Olympic winner born in Kuopio. He is one of the most successful Olympic wrestlers in history. Leino won gold in free style wrestling in the 75 kg series in Antwerp's Olympic Games in 1920, silver in the 72 kg series in Paris games in 1924, bronze in the 66 kg series in Amsterdam's games in 1928 and bronze in the 72 kg series in Los Angeles in 1932. Leino lived in the USA during his active career. In 1920 he won America's amateur sports league's championship in catch wrestling and in 1924 in free style wrestling. The only time he participated in the Finnish Championship Game was in 1936 when got silver. Before his years in America he was the goalkeeper in Kuopio's Riento football team in 1912-1914. Perhaps even more famous namesake, the Finnish poet Eino Leino liked spending time back then in Seurahuone (now Puikkari) enjoying theatre art while sipping on refreshing drinks from Lignell & Piispanen together with Juhani Aho.
